A striking, demiurgic collection of myth and folklore-inspired stories.
Our inaugural issue understands myth as something that lingers after collapse – in echoes, bodies, dreams, and absences. From the cliffs of Cape Sounio, to Zeus’ shop class, and from the wonders of medieval medicine, to monsters and statues that toy and torment, these stories are fragments that treat myth as something unstable and turpid, perpetually resurfacing through intimate and violent acts. Here, grief exceeds reason, familial curses shake communities, and the price of hubris is taught anew. The mythological is not escapism, but another means of confronting reality. It reverberates through time because we need it.
